NUnit is arguably the most matured unit testing framework for .NET. This is a open source project. Always updates it for keep it modern by convention. This framework choose by many developer for writing their unit test code.
XUnit:
Another very popular unit test framework is XUnit.NET. There are many community contribution and addition to XUnit. This unit testing framework is continuing to mature at a very rapid pace.
MSTest:
MSTest is another unit testing framework which is comes with any version of Visual Studio above the free express editions. Though it is available inside visual studio so it is arguably the popular testing framework.
